My poetry-My heart-My words turned pink
Hi Amanda,
Aspiring, that’s good I think. So yes, observe. Go write.
I think, even when we’re as young as young, that we think inside too much. Nothing wrong to do, but it just doesn’t tell us much. In part, that’s just the way we’re built. So go think with your eyes, with your ears. Observe and report back to us.
Light and dark. We have them both, or think we do. And life may yes, be about love, but not of necessity about only a boy and girl. Love most simply said, is simply “allow”. And that’s no shallow bowl at all. And notice this, turn on the light in a darkened room. Tell me then, just how long did dark resist?
Have you ever heard of a young poet, Sunday Sahara Spain? Maybe go look for her book. Simple and young can have all the wisdom it needs to be. Go see. Reading can also teach, let you see what you already have but didn’t know.
Keep writing. Doesn’t really matter much what others think. Of course a kind word now and then is always nice. Observe. Write. Learn yourself. That will be enough.
And I love your glasses. How useless opinions, you see?
